Project Goal
During a five month term, I worked together in a team of four as Design Lead, helping to bring to life a unique spin on both the truck sim and thriller genre. Game features a static map that the player must use to navigate with the help of various landmarks and road signs while trying not to succumb to their strange cargo.
Planned out and greyboxed entire map and environment. Set up road layout, various landmarks, as well as several scare events present throughout the game. Helped chart the overall narrative of the game as well as scripting out short dialogue segments present.
Utilize a static map that doesn’t contain the player’s current location, forcing them to utilize their surroundings in order to orient themselves and navigate properly. Use this focus to create unique and interesting scares to thrill the player.
